We took a trip down Padre Island National Seashore for Christmas. The water was a beautiful green with 8/10 water clarity. The waves were 0-1 ft. The drive down the beach was superb at low tide and high tide. There is nasty sargassum in the surf North all the way to about the 25 mile marker. We threw Ghost Shrimp into the second gut and caught bullreds and lots of pompano. Tim casted a Mirrorlure and caught a 40" Bullred on light tackle. Hardly any bites until the incoming tide, and then for a solid hour we couldn't stop catching the pomps. All in all, it was a epic day.
