There have been a lot of pup shark in the 2-3 ft. range being caught in the surf lately. I took a trip with one of my dear friends Silver Guerra. We caught over 10 pup sharks in under an hour to say the least. There have been plenty of bait from ladyfish to mullet. I have found the live mullet to work best when fishing for redfish. But fresh cut bait and live mullet seem to work just fine for catching the sharks as well. There was a bit of a current yesterday with strong winds. Today, the winds seemed to be not so bad. Fall fishing is surely upon us. If you don't feel like fishing the surf, you can always hit up the bay for some flounder. Tight Lines!
